At Calyx, every one of our team members is expected to take ownership regardless of title. We don’t wait for others when we see an opportunity to act. We help our teammates when they need it because we know their problems are our problems. Every initiative we take is seen through to the end. You will see teammates crossing their forearms in the “X” shape as a sign of acknowledgement or appreciation.

Calyx is in a highly competitive industry and to maintain our current leadership position in the packaging business, we must always operate with a target on our back. The rate at which we can make decisions correctly is directly proportional with our success. We take calculated risks with time spent “sharpening the axe” before we begin cutting.
